Dunstan
Dunstan Hall was our stay for five nights. Great location for exploring Norwich and surrounding areas. The hall is set in beautiful grounds. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Both breakfast and evening meal offered a great selection. Many thanks to all staff especially Kristie, the breakfast and evening teams.
Excellently Spa Break
Excellent spa break, great value for moneyThe hotel has changed for the better since we were here a few years ago. Starting with the receptionist ( Melissa) who was genuinely welcoming and efficient,to all the staff who served in the restaurant .The spa treatment was excellent ( Amy) and the addition of a relaxation room is a great idea. The rooms have been reburbished and are extremely clean. The breakfast was good and the dinner was okay for the price we paid.
Highly recommend
I had a Shoulder, neck, and scalp massage, Frangipani foot treatment & an Express manicure with Caroline. I would highly recommend not only the venue and treatments, but also Caroline as a spa therapist. Each and every treatment was so relaxing, and Caroline was so friendly, and communicated with me throughout, checking I was comfortable and happy with my treatments. Had a brilliant experience!
Spa day
Visited the spa as a friend bought us a red letter day. . Nice to relax and have a treatment. Treatments were good. My therapist was Caroline who was lovely and is clearly keen to ensure you feel good
My spa day experience
I had a lovely spa day with my friends. Lovely place in Beautiful surroundings, relaxing as soon as you stepped through the door. Leisure area, pool, jacuzzi steam room and sauna all ready good. Especially enjoyed my full body exfoliation with the frangipani scrub and collagen cream, with my therapist Caroline. She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable, making sure I was alright throughout my treatment. I would fully recommend both therapist and treatment.
Lovely stay
Lovely hotel with comfortable beds. Maisie at the Brasserie restaurant was very helpful. Good service
Fantastic hotel and spa experience
I stayed here in April to celebrate a birthday, we booked a Classic room, and were upgraded to a beautiful Superior room that had a small terrace + mini-bar. It was luxurious, comfortable and clean. Our spa treatments were lovely and the therapists very friendly and professional. The spa area itself is relaxing and calm and the pool, sauna and steam room while shared with hotel guests (including children) were clean and pleasant enough to spend time in. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent - great choice of options, super friendly and helpful staff and as a celiac I was very well taken care off. 5 stars all round - I would highly recommend Dunstan Hall for a visit or a stay.
Extremely good experience and very friendly service throughout
Stayed overnight as part of a golf breaks weekend. Room, and bed, was very comfortable. Slightly surprised that there were no glasses in the room other than coffee mugs. Evening meal was very good and breakfast likewise. Extremely friendly service by staff throughout our stay.
A beautiful spa location and must have treatments!
An absolutely amazing spa day and excellent treatments. Myself and my friend came up for a spa morning, followed by a treatment each and then some lunch. My therapist Rachel was top notch, she gave me the best back massage and facial. My friend had an elemis facial with the lovely Imogen and was so pleased at her results. Victoria on reception was friendly and welcoming and explained the whole day thoroughly. We will definitely booking again. Thank you ladies.
Excellent stay WELL DONE
Great 4 day stay. Brilliant facilities in a wonderful setting. New menu that is reasonably priced. Food quality seems to have gone up since last visit. The room was clean and fresh . House keeping was good, a friendly chap called Tom, nothing was too much trouble.
Super weekend.
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Nice room, very clean. Evening meals and breakfasts were very good. It was a busy weekend but the staff coped very well. Three of the staff deserve a mention, Charlie our waiter for the evening meal, nothing was too much trouble for him. Rachel Cooke probably the most helpful and pleasant hotel employee I have ever come across. The golf course starter on the first tee full of information and good humour.
Spa stay with the girls
Lovely stay at Dunstan Hall with the girls. Venue, room, grounds all very clean. Staff super friendly from reception to waiting staff. Had amazing back massage by Amy - very friendly, professional, knowledgable about massages and good pressure. Definitely recommend.
Lovely, country hotel with good food and great massage
Lovely hotel. We had a deluxe double room, which was large and clean. Enjoyed a great dinner (new spring menu) and both had a relaxing and perfect pressure message with Amy.. we just wished we could have booked longer slots but they were not available when we stayed.
Great Overnight Spa Experience.
I enjoyed an excellent spa break with my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday. Check in was smooth, followed by lunch on the sun terrace overlooking the golf course. Tracy took our order and chatted with my daughter about her celebration and her studies. It was a busy lunch service but she took time to welcome us and she was cheerful, efficient and friendly. Our room was fantastic, it was spacious with dual aspect windows and a generous sized bathroom. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. My massage with Lois was really good. The exfoliator she used on my back was very relaxing and the massage was very firm - just what I needed. She checked in with me at the beginning then let me fully relax by not talking to me. The facial, shoulder and head massage was so relaxing and the products she used smelled beautiful. We dined early at 6:30pm, service was efficient and our evening meal was tasty. My daughter's steak cooked medium/rare was just right. All in all a very relaxing and fun overnight stay, staff were pleasant and welcoming, plus our room was splendid. Very good value for money and we will book the same package for next year!
Spa with mini treatment and lunch
Such a lovely relaxing day in the spa. We had a facial and a head & shoulder massage with Imogen. She was friendly and made you feel at ease and so good at massaging, Tasty lunch too. We will definitely be visiting again
Brilliant
Great location. Spa weekend, Amy was so polite and helpful and is amazing at massages. Dinner was great Robin was very helpful and very polite. He was also at breakfast along with Olivia they both work so hard and we're so helpful. They couldn't do enough for us, great staff.
Can't wait to visit again
We've visited Dunston for a short stay ever year on our wedding anniversary, since our (mini) honeymoon in 2012. We absolutely love the place. The history of the building, the beautiful surroundings, the amazing food, and especially the friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable, providing everything you need, whether that be in the extensions along the side of the Manor house, or in the main building itself. We had The Birch suite (6) for our honeymoon, we've stayed in the standard rooms and, since our 10th anniversary, treated ourselves to a room in the Manor house, with stunning views across the immaculate golf course. If youre looking for peace and quiet, comfort surroundings, a base to explore Norwich and the coast from... we recommend Dunston Hall. We can't wait to visit again next year.
Spa break great value
We did the 2 night stay. We chose to add on Dinner on both nights which was an offer I think we paid £52 each to get the 2 nights dinner but we could have a meal value of £35 each per night. We got a 50 minute treatment each and a 25 minute treatment each. It was great value. I expected to find the hotel a bit run down , as is often the case on these spa break offers but that was not the case. A really lovely hotel and the staff were all very friendly and polite.
Spa weekend review
Great location, went for a spa weekend, had a back and facial massage from Rachel, who worked wonders. So relaxing! We had dinner included and while the food was lovely, a special mention must go to Robin who was super attentive, ensured we wanted for nothing. Breakfast the following morning, Robin was back and working alongside Olivia. Both were just as attentive and a great asset to your hotel. It was a pleasure to talk with them and see how they worked so well as a team. Would definitely recommend.
A relaxing day at the spa
Visited Dunston Hall Spa on 29/04 for a spa day with my daughter. My therapist was Rachel - she was extremely professional and delivered my facial and foot massage in a kind and professional manner. My skin feels amazing. Rachel also advised on products she had used for my facial. The day included lunch - the menu for the deal was a little limited but the food was well presented and tasty. The servers were attentive and polite. Overall a nice relaxing day
